Throughout his ten-year career, Cas Atchison has been valued for his managerial and negotiation skills. His leadership, work ethic, and ability to build and maintain strong relationships are what set him apart. Cas prides himself on his ability to negotiate in a win-win fashion, manage effective teams, increase project value, and most importantly improve the client’s bottom line.
After graduating from St. Edward’s University with a BA in Finance, Cas began his career with Maddison Minerals in 2003. Working with Clint “Butch” Hendrickson for the first 6 years of his career gave Cas the necessary skills to begin Synergy Land & Minerals, LLC in January 2011. Negotiating over 150,000 acres in over 25 counties, Cas has gained the trust of his various sized clients, ranging from small independents to the majors.
He received the designation of Registered Professional Landman (RPL) and is planning on taking the CPL exam in fall of 2013. He is a board member of Young Professionals in Energy (Austin) (YPE Austin), committee member of St. Edward’s Endowment Board (GPAC), an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen (AAPL), The Austin Professional Landmen’s Association (APLA), The San Antonio Association of Professional Landmen (SAPL), The Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), and The Austin Petroleum Exploration Society (APES).
Cas is primarily located in Oklahoma and is somewhat of a board member emeritus for YPE Austin.
