Enjoy spending a leisurely Saturday in Sonoma, sipping some good wine? Interested in seeing solar and energy storage in action, creating real value for a successful business featured by Forbes? This harvest season YPE has brought you the best of both!
We are delighted to announce that La Crema of Jackson Family Wines will host an exclusive event for 30 YPE members. Included in your ticket:
- solar/storage micro-grid tour
- catered lunch
- private walking tour with wine tasting
We will first join the Director of Sustainability while touring the fully operational solar arrays and battery systems and hear about how they manage the micro-grid to be fully energy-independent at reduced carbon footprints.
- The Jackson family is collaborating with Tesla Energy to install twenty-one stationary energy storage systems, for a total of 4.2 MW of storage capacity, making Jackson Family Wines early adopters of energy storage in the wine industry and, currently, one of Tesla’s largest installations.
- Learn more about their sustainable practice here: Report: Cultivating the Future, Triple Bottom Line Responsibility at Jackson Family Wines
Next up we will head to the fabled Saralee's Vineyard for lunch at a reserved outdoor seating area, taking in gorgeous views of the lushly landscaped property.
Then comes the highlight of this visit - taste La Crema's wide range of wines on a privately hosted walking tour of the estate!
Space is strictly limited. Come join fellow YPE members on September 23rd for an educational and entertaining trip to Sonoma!
