YPE - Women In Power: Democratizing Clean Energy
Globally, trillions of dollars will be invested over the next 20 years in an effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions and transition to a cleaner, more efficient energy system. With this new energy paradigm, major financial investments from both public and private sectors are required to move global communities to a low-carbon economy. Equitable policies and access to affordable financing will also ensure that climate resilience is experienced by all, not just a select few. This panel will discuss how energy leaders from the public and private sector are working towards achieving climate justice.
