Dave is an Environmental Discipline Specialist with Bergmann Associates, located in Canton. Dave works in Bergmann’s Energy Supply division, focusing primarily on environmental permitting (wetlands, endangered species & cultural resources), midstream route development, and pipeline maintenance permitting for wetland and stream exposures. Dave has spent most of the past decade working in the energy supply industry, with experience in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa and Connecticut. Dave is also a professional land use planner certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), supporting Bergmann’s Planning, Design + Geospatial division by assisting with developing land use regulations, zoning/subdivision codes, NEPA/SEQR reviews, municipal development application reviews, brownfield redevelopment plans, community master plans, corridor plans, GIS mapping and urban revitalization plans.
Dave is a 2005 graduate from Siena College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. Dave is also a 2009 graduate of the University at Albany with a Masters in Urban & Regional Planning. Dave sits on the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Fairlawn, serving as treasurer, as well as the Siena College Environmental Studies Department Community Advisory Board. Dave is also a member of the Ohio Oil & Gas Association, the Marcellus Shale Coalition and the Water Management Association of Ohio. Dave lives in Copley, Ohio with his wife Sarah, and their 16-month old son Cam. In his spare time, Dave enjoys coaching, umpiring and watching baseball, hiking, hockey, reading and spending time with his family.
