Residential Account Manager - Energy Efficiency, Mississippi

To support our growth, we seek a Residential account manager to work in our Energy Efficiency division in Jackson, MS.
In this role you will serve as a liaison between ICF managed energy efficiency programs and program contractors, trade organizations, distributors, retailers, manufacturers, utility customers and client representatives.
You will have office and field responsibilities; some overnight travel may be required. The role will offer administrative and operational support to the residential team and public speaking, training, and field support will be required.  We place a premium on creativity, an ability to work independently when necessary but to function as part of a team, a drive to succeed, and a commitment to client satisfaction.  Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are also required.  The position will be full time and based in the ICF Jackson, MS office.

Key Responsibilities
•Account management and support for Trade Ally participants in the Heating and Cooling, Energy Audit, Weatherization, and Appliance energy efficiency programs
•Administrative and operational support for programs
•Contractor outreach and recruitment, including developing and implementing program sales strategies, relationship building activities, and technical assistance and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to those participating in energy efficiency programs.
•Preparing and delivering persuasive presentations and providing program representation at trade shows, trade organization events, etc.
•Field mentoring and QA/QC of residential HVAC focused energy efficiency work performed
•Application processing, data management and customer service support
•Project / program tracking and reporting to the client and other external parties
•Customer outreach in order to promote residential programs including support for customer events
Basic Qualifications:
•A bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering
•Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
•1-3 years of professional experience
•Strong working knowledge of basic business principles and successful business practices/strategies

•Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
•Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
•Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
•Outstanding analytical, writing, and communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required
•A clean and valid drivers license

Preferred Skills/Experience:
•HVAC system knowledge and experience
•Energy efficiency knowledge
•Knowledge of energy efficient building practices and technologies
•Familiarity with building principles, energy audits, and energy savings calculations
•BPI Building Analyst or RESNET HERS Rater Certification
•Utility experience and understanding of Demand Side Management (DSM) program implementation
