General Job Description

Davis Hill Development is a regional commercial solar developer based on Greenwich, CT and a subsidiary of Skyview Ventures, a renewable energy investment company.  We are looking for someone to support the development and operations of commercial solar systems in the Northeastern United States, and to assist with the management of Skyview’s residential SREC portfolio.  DHD has developed over 100 solar systems over the past few years and continues to grow its portfolio.

 

Responsibilities

Asset Management

  • Monitor system performance of over 100 solar systems in 6 states
  • Oversee production reporting for both commercial assets and a large residential SREC portfolio
  • Develop and manage performance reporting procedures for internal management
  • Manage periodic reports for our counterparties and financing partners
  • Forecast cash flow projections and track performance against model
  • Identify and resolve system performance issues, including interfacing with third-party operation & maintenance and asset management contractors
  • Manage corrective and preventative operation and maintenance program

 

Project Development

  • Customize financial pro-forma models for solar power projects using various financing structures
  • Generate design and production estimates using standard tools (i.e. Helioscope) to support the sales process.
  • Assist with other solar project development activities, including responding to RFPs, creating presentations, and attending local meetings
  • Research new development markets
  • Manage the tracking and reporting of our development pipeline

 

Project Management

  • Manage interconnection, incentive and other entitlement processes
  • Manage periodic reports for various stakeholders
  • Support invoicing process

 

 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a relevant role, specifically in renewables or electricity generation
  • BS degree in electrical engineering preferred
  • Willing to travel regionally as needed
  • Ability to communicate well, manage deliverables without daily oversight, and take proactive attitude towards addressing relevant issues

 

Compensation

Based on experience, will include performance bonus
