Loïc currently works as a trade advisor for the Energy sector at the Embassy of France Trade Office, Ubifrance. He covers both Canada and the United States. By conducting business consultancy for French companies, he aims to create synergy between Canadian and French companies.
For the 2 past years, Loïc has been in charge of heading the official French delegation and creating the French pavilion on one of the main oil & gas exhibitions in the world, the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary.
His career in energy began as a market analyst for Juwi, the leading European company in renewable energy, exploring the potential of autoconsumption of solar power production by industrial factories.
Prior to that, Loïc worked in structured financing at CACIB, the world’s fifth-largest bank in total assets. Involved in the Export Credit department, he participated in several multi-billion dollar finance projects on the Asian market.
His alma mater, Audencia School of Business, is where he completed a master’s degree in management before pursuing an MSc at the French Petroleum Institute (IFP).
