Utility Consolidation Speaker Event

The Ontario utilities landscape is poised to undergo significant change in the coming years. Today, the sector is highly fragmented with over 70 Local Distribution Companies (LDCs). However, in the recent past there have been policy developments that are expected to drive consolidation in the sector. Already there have been several announcements, including the merger of Enersource, Horizon, PowerStream and Hydro One Brampton and the merger of Veridian, Whitby Hydro and Oshawa Power & Utilities.

Join us on June 29, 2016 to hear from one of the top management consultants engaged in this transformation, Benjamin Grunfeld, Director in the Energy Practice at Navigant. Ben will be speaking to the historical context, recent developments and how increased consolidation may impact the sector.
