Curious about what your peers are doing in the energy industry? Interested in sharing your work?
Join YPE Boston for a series of 5-minute “lightning talks” where YPE members will discuss their projects and passions. YPE members come from a vast array of disciplines from engineers, lawyers, and policy analysts to sales professionals, consultants, and entrepreneurs. Truly understanding the work of your peers is crucial to collaborating across disciplines and key to being successful in this industry.
We are looking for presenters! If you are interested in presenting, send a short description of your proposed topic to firstname.lastname@example.org by Wednesday March 13 or register as a presenter and we will reach out to you. Speakers can also choose to receive constructive input and feedback from YPE Board Members on their presentations! Presenters should follow these guidelines:
- Aim to keep the presentations 5–7 min long with at most 5 PowerPoint slides
- Start the presentation by introducing yourself and your organization, then speak about your project’s goals, process, challenges, and outcomes / lessons learned
- Aim to orient your talk so that other YPE members can better understand how your organization works, your role within the organization, and, of course, the project
