Rachel Seaman is a Global Credit Research Analyst in BP’s Integrated Supply & Trading (IST) business with her primary focus on the Marine Portfolio. As a Research Analyst, Rachel assigns internal risk ratings and maintains coverage of the Marine Industry and counterparties to support existing business and assist in the enablement of future business within IST. Prior to joining BP in 2013, Rachel worked in public accounting as a Senior Tax Associate at McGladrey where her main concentration was in the service and not-for-profit sector. At McGladrey, Rachel analysed financial statements in order to complete tax returns, accrual to cash conversions and forecasts.
Rachel received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and completed her Master’s in Science of Accountancy (MSA) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While completing her MSA, she had two internships at McGladrey and served as a Teacher’s Assistant at UIC. Gretchen recently joined the Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) Chicago chapter, as the Director of the Marketing Communications Committee. Outside of her work on the board, Gretchen is the Account Director for Yelloblu, a cleantech marketing agency headquartered in Chicago. Among her many roles, Gretchen manages agency operations and client services, handling campaigns for clients in the green chemistry, energy efficiency and renewable energy space.
Gretchen also leads diagnostics and biotech accounts for Yelloblu’s parent company, Chempetitive Group (CG). Lending her extensive project management, communications and social media experience to advance the life science marketing agency’s strategic initiatives.
