We investigated the energy outlook of the GCC for 2016 by discussing five hot topics related to recent global and regional trends. Our Guest Speaker – Mr. Sean Evers, the Managing Partner of Gulf Intelligence – a leading regional energy communications consultancy – helped us unravel these five topics emerging from Gulf Intelligence 2016 Industry Survey of 250 energy professionals operating in the Middle East. More specifically, he discussed topics around the impact of oil prices on GCC economies, sanctions-free Iran on the gas market, disruptive technologies, and China slow economic growth – amongst others.
