JOB DESCRIPTION
Person hired for these positions will:
  • Prepare briefs and correspondence on program status and updates
  • Provide programming, engineering, and construction management assistance to USAF and DoD
  • Assist in preparing and proposing formal action plans for program direction and execution
  • Support the energy and water conservation/renewable energy programs
  • Assist in reducing facility utility and water consumption cost and resources
  • Create management documentation
  • Provide and maintain program Quality Control Plan
  • Develop review the economic and technical feasibility of conservation initiatives
  • Develop and manage the facility energy, water audit program
  • Assist in developing, implementing, managing, and sustaining of facility utility and water saving projects
  • Develop a re-commissioning/retro-commissioning plan for building heating, ventilating and cooling systems
  • Establish baseline energy/water intensity benchmarks of facility performance

Job Requirements

Experience
  • Experience with facility system design, construction management, operations and maintenance
  • Experience in engineering analysis of facility and utility systems
  • Previous experience with the Department of Defense helpful
Skills
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Mathematics and 3 years of Energy related experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related degree and 5 years experience
  • Energy Management Certification (such as CEM from the Association of Energy Engineers, or equivalent) is highly desired.
  • Adaptable and flexible

  • A favorable NAC (National Agency Check) is required for access to Air Force systems.

Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education Required:Bachelor's or Master's
Fields of Expertise:Energy Resource Management, Engineering, Facility or Mechanical Engineering
