Process Owner

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for a Process Owner to join our world-class Financial Operations organization.  The Process Owner will be responsible for improving the overall health of EnerNOC’s core business processes in order to deliver sustainable bottom-line business results. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill-set that combines strong leadership, wide-ranging influence, strategic thinking, and a solid understanding of process improvement methodologies that culminates into the successful execution of EnerNOC’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Working with senior management to define a balanced scorecard and enterprise-level goals that align to business objectives
•    Collaborating with groups across EnerNOC to design and produce comprehensive, timely, and succinct executive-level reports on key measures of strategic performance
•    Managing the processes for evaluating business cases and ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and for prioritizing and monitoring investments at a strategic level
•    Working with Finance to support resource allocation decisions by evaluating proposed and actual expenditures, conducting post-expenditure reviews, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
•    Documenting, measuring, improving, and ensuring the health of EnerNOC’s core business processes
•    Facilitating teams of professionals to identify, design and implement processes and process improvements that support an efficient, scalable, customer-driven organization
•    Leading process improvement efforts by educating, coaching and mentoring others on process improvement philosophy, tools and applications
•    Establishing processes to support new business offerings and to support the integration of existing offerings into the firm

Job Requirements


Required Qualifications:

•    BA/BS degree in business administration, engineering or other related field
•    5+ years experience with Process Excellence methodologies
•    2+ years experience in a role accountable for bottom-line business results
•    Demonstrated ability to influence cultural change
•    Experience with facilitative leadership or facilitating meetings
•    Excellent oral and written communications skills
•    Initiative, resourcefulness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible, team environment
•    Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively


Desired Qualifications:

•    MBA or other graduate degree
•    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or more advanced certification
•    Deep experience in statistical and quantitative analysis
•    Prior experience within and/or passion for the clean tech sector
