Inside Sales Manager

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for an Inside Sales Manager to join our world-class Inside Sales organization.  The Inside Sales Manager based in Boston will support the expansion of our successful Inside Sales Team and drive the achievement of its weekly and quarterly goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Sales Leaders to manager a team of bright, driven sales professionals as an integral part of an industry-leading energy firm.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage team of talented Business Development Associates in our Boston office.  This will include:
     o Hands-on coaching to help the team gain attention, interest, desire, and action from pool of qualified leads.  The end result for the Inside Sales team is to schedule qualified meetings for our Outside Sales team.
     o Work closely with Business Development Associates to manage and maximize their individual sales pipelines.
     o Train Inside Sales team on program rules and qualification criteria for EnerNOC’s Demand Response and Energy Efficiency offerings.
     o Conduct routine performance evaluations, provide feedback on performance gaps, provide coaching to minimize gaps, and prepare individuals to meet personal and company goals.
     o Use motivational tools to effectively drive teamwork and individual sales performance.
• Develop and implement Inside Sales team recruitment, hiring, motivation, training, and retention strategy. This includes continuous development and execution of Inside Sales staffing best practices to ensure the development of a world-class Inside Sales team that consistently meets or exceeds goals
• Detailed analysis on team’s weekly and quarterly sales metrics including leading/lagging indicators, conversion rates and performance against Sales targets
• Design and implement Sales and prospecting Training Materials.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Directors and Business Development Managers to achieve Sales targets.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous management or leadership experience
• Quantifiable record of results in prior roles.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized
• Goal oriented
• Passion for Sales success


Desired Qualifications:

• Masters in Business Administration
• Inside or Outside Sales experience
• 2-5 years energy industry experience
• Experience with Salesforce CRM
