Marketing Specialist, C&I; Energy Efficiency – Boston or San Francisco

Description

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for Marketing Specialists to join our world-class C&I Marketing organization.

 

Marketing Specialists work with one of three teams within the Marketing organization, which include:

 

1.) Field Marketing - Key Responsibilities (Location: Boston or San Francisco):

  • Develop creative, targeted marketing campaigns to deliver sales prospects who are ready to buy
  • Help create and execute quarterly regional marketing plans that leverage deep market awareness, competitive intelligence, and local expertise

 

 

2.) Lead Generation - Key Responsibilities (Location: Boston):

  • Leverage excellent analytical skills to help turn EnerNOC’s customer and prospect data into a strategic asset
  • Develop and improve predictive models to help Sales and Field Marketing target the most attractive EnerNOC prospects

 

 

3.) Product Marketing - Key Responsibilities (Location: Boston or San Francisco):

  • Research competitors, customers and markets to define EnerNOC’s products, pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Bring data-driven market and customer insights into the product development process

Job Requirements

Experience

Required Qualifications (all positions):

  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
  • Sophisticated Excel skills and demonstrated ability to frame problems, understand processes, and perform analysis that drives business results
  • At least two years of professional experience in consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in energy

  • Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills
  • Relentless desire to take action, improve the status quo, and impact business in a measurable way

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow up on analyses with clear assumptions, rationale and solid logic
