Job Title: Manager, Division Orders


Location: State College, PA

This position is responsible for ensuring corporate compliance with underlying contractual obligations in oil and gas producing assets. Prepares units, maintains extension program for non-HBP acreage and oversees due diligence process in trades/acquisitions/divestures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform unit analysis by building a model of necessary steps needed to fulfill lease obligations. Relay lease provision information to various departments. Attend operational meetings to gather necessary information to ensure operations are in compliance with lease provisions.

· Prepare Division of Interest documents through the examination of leases, contracts, title opinion, conveyance and probate documents and other supporting data to ensure timely and accurate payment to interest owners, including review of non-operating units and Illinois properties.

· Prepare Declarations of Pooling by gathering information from leases and mapping. Review map data to ensure accuracy. Work with Land Tech to mail Declaration of Pooling to landowners once returned from recorder.

· Work with Land Manger, Land Records to update Enertia lease/tract status from Active to HBP/HBO.

· Monitor leases within proposed units to determine necessary steps need to prevent expiration. Perform analysis of cost of extending versus cost of drilling.

· Work with Manager, Land Records to build an extension program for non-HBP acreage.

· Review due diligence process in trades/acquisitions/divestures. Prepare Exhibits for Assignments.

· Attend operation meetings to gather information regarding well status in order to maintain shut-in analysis. Coordinate shut-in payments with accounting group.

Job Requirements



1. Minimum of 7 years related experience.

2. Bachelor’s degree preferred

3. Certified Division Order Analyst preferred.



1. Proven knowledge of descent and distribution laws for multiple states.

2. Proven ability to interpret leases, contracts and division order required documents (such as title opinions, probates, deeds and assignments used to determine ownership).

3. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Access.
