As a Solution Architect you will help lead the industry in the major growth areas of unconventional plays and analytics to enable the world’s largest E&P companies make better decisions, faster.  This position reports to the Regional Director of Sales.

Basic Performance Objectives
Manage the key technical/solutions relationships in the world’s largest and most innovative E&P companies;
Team with Territory Managers to create solution strategy and business plan ownership;
Develop domain expertise in analytics, geology, land data etc.; 
Provide upstream E&P and technical subject matter expertise in the business development process;
Provide leadership within the technical team for mentorship, recruiting and career development; and
Complete DI Technical certification and training on a regular basis.

Expectations for travel are 30-60% to attend trade shows, client meetings and sales academies.

Job Requirements

Ideal candidates will have existing knowledge of DI and/or Transform products, knowledge of competitive products (SMT, GGX, Petra and/or Decisionspace) and a combination of strong E&P industry knowledge and education (Geoscience/Engineering).
