RCM Financial Analyst

Job Description Financial Analysts help support the Renewable Capital Markets team with a variety of functions. CPF is looking for someone who is passionate about finance and the renewable energy space. Specific Responsibilities: •Analyze, refine, and optimize the project economics of the residential solar financing products on the Clean Power Finance platform using Microsoft Excel (including Visual Basic) •Assist the closing process for a variety of financing vehicles including assistance with financial modeling, deal marketing, negotiation, documentation, and administration •Support sales activities as necessary by preparing materials, participating in partner training to communicate finance concepts, and managing due diligence material to external parties •Work with RCM team and executive team to develop a variety of business analysis and forecasting tools and models to integrate with corporate accounting and planning •Analyze economics of state and local incentive programs as well as local tax and regulatory issues and recommend new market opportunities and underwriting criteria •Perform data querying and analysis of CPF transactions using Tableau and other database reporting programs to assist strategic initiatives •Interface with Financial Operations and Corporate Accounting for ongoing asset and fund management responsibilities •Assist in improving financial models in terms of accuracy, flexibility and ease of use Clean Power Finance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: General Knowledge & Skills •Excellent written and oral communication •Outstanding analytical and cognitive ability •Comfortable working hard in a fast paced environment •Capacity to multi-task with relentless attention to detail •Ability to work in a team environment and individually •Self-starter and ability to take ownership of tasks and projects with minimal oversight
Technical Skills •Minimum 2 years of work experience in project finance, structured finance, tax equity, lease finance, asset-backed finance, M&A, investment banking, municipal finance , or private equity •Understanding various debt and equity financing structures, including construction and long-term renewable energy project financing (term loans and tax equity) •Understanding of basic accounting statements such as balance sheet, cash flow, income statement •Ability to read and interpret legal documents •Expert with MS Excel including Visual Basic (Macros), and highly skilled with other MS Office products including PowerPoint and Word
Education Required:•A bachelor’s (or advanced) degree
