Energy Policy Analyst (Full-Time, 100% Remote)
Seeking Energy Policy Analyst, Full-Time Remote
Who Are We?
At P.R. Quinlan Associates Inc. (“PRQ”), we know retail energy policy. We serve retail electricity and natural gas suppliers, energy brokers and marketers, renewable energy developers, regulatory law firms, and energy trade associations. We provide intelligence, analysis, and advice to companies on policy issues at the federal, state, and local levels.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking candidates for a full-time, 100% remote, energy policy analyst position, with a focus on research, analysis, and reporting on state-level energy policy impacting retail electricity, natural gas, and renewable energy companies. Most importantly, we are looking for a teammate who shares our Company Values (see below) and can answer an enthusiastic “YES!” to each of the following questions:
- Do you have experience working in the energy field?
- Are you passionate about public policy?
- Are you naturally curious and willing to dig to find the answers our clients need?
- Are you detail-oriented, a strong writer, and an experienced researcher?
- Are you committed to treating clients and teammates with respect?
- Have you read and can commit to upholding the four PRQ Company Values?
If You Answered, “YES!” to each of these questions, GREAT!
Please take the next step and email email@example.com for a full position description and application.
What Do We Value?
Our team is committed to our four Company Values, which guide everything we do at PRQ.
Integrity – we are honest with each other and with our clients. If we can’t do something how or when a client wants, we clearly explain that. We are clear with each other about our goals, expectations, and challenges.
Excellence – we give our clients, our colleagues, and ourselves our best effort, every day. We constantly strive to improve our products and processes.
Professionalism – we treat our clients and our colleagues with the utmost respect. We know when we can be friendly and relaxed and when we need to be formal, especially in writing with clients. We treat each person we interact with outside the company as if they are our most important client.
Curiosity – we are not satisfied with giving our clients the “minimum viable product.” We get the small things right because we work in a field in which details matter. We always ask ourselves, “What does this regulation or legislation actually mean?” If we don’t understand it, we can’t communicate it.
