Barco Industries  is hiring for experienced equipment operators with a * Class A CDL * to work in and around the following location:

- Texas based in Columbus (must live within 100 miles)

7 on / 7 off schedule with housing provided during travel

Essential Duties include but not limited to:

  • Be able to operate with autonomy and show leadership at worksite toward other employees and third party workers.
  • Attends all required safety meetings (on-site and off).  Understands and uses stop work authority to keep people in the area safe.
  • Take care of equipment and operate it safely.
  • Performs manual labor, as necessary. Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • CDL, Class A Required
  • Pre and Post Trip Inspection
  • Perform Basic Maintenance and Report Advance Needed Maintenance to Supervisor
  • Check all fluids and visually inspect all equipment
  • Ensure all Logbooks and pre/post trips are neat, complete, and accurate
  • Work well in team environment
  • Ability to think and act quickly
  • Customer / Client Focus

QUALIFICATIONS: Class A CDL, 2 years oilfield experience including at least 1 year running and maintaining pumps.

COMPETENCIES:

Education/ Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Class A CDL required.  No endorsements are required.

Language Skills

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English well enough to read technical documents and effectively communicate with team members.

Certifications/ Licenses

  • Must maintain a valid CDL license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, hear, talk and smell.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform, as needed, to include, but not limited to, climbing ladders and/or stairs, working on equipment, lifting, swinging hammers, and working in the elements.
  • May be required to wear or use a respirator.

Job Type: Full-time

Overtime Required

Travel up to 100% required
