Production Reporting Analyst

The Production Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible for providing production reporting support to all operational teams in the Wyoming and Texas areas. The Production Reporting Specialist is responsible for data management, helping field personnel ensure accuracy of production volumes, and create production reports.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs data management activities, which include loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data related to production operations
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas production infrastructure and equipment set-up in order to identify potential production variances
  • Compile and review reports and documents for daily / monthly reporting
  • Applies skills and concepts to ensure data integrity, data reliability, and data accessibility throughout the group
  • Compiles data, communicates, and provides information to Management and finance groups
  • Assist with the evaluation of data and summarize and document results
  • Assist in the set-up of new wells, customized forms and reports
  • Coordinates data transfer and updates shared data sources among departments
  • Utilize working knowledge of non-operated wells for organization’s production reporting efforts
  • Interact with professionals in land, regulatory, marketing, midstream, and field operations to secure the necessary data and information to perform core job functions
  • Utilizes software to discover trends in operational data and reports

Production Reporting Analyst Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is preferable and 2+ years in oil and gas. The ideal candidate will have experience with:

· Cygnet

· Wellview

· AFE systems


· Spotfire

· Field data capture software experience

· Sharepoint

· Mobile devices

Must work well independently or as part of a team of Production Reporting Analysts and support technicians. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels (technical, non-technical, etc.) are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.

Production Reporting Analyst Work Environment

Ability to communicate orally with end users, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial. Regular use of phone, email and skype for communication is essential. Sitting at the computer for long periods of time are common. On occasion, travel to unit offices are required.
