Wasted Energy as Profitable Climate Change Business

LAWAC_TOWNHALL

The built environment in Los Angeles is a significant source of carbon emissions that, if eliminated, would help stop climate change. Commercial property owners in Los Angeles are under pressure from the City of LA with Mayor Eric Garcetti’s New Green Plan that calls for new buildings to be net-zero carbon by 2030 and all buildings converted to zero-emissions by 2050. The calls for change are bringing risk and disruption to the commercial real estate business in California.

Panelists will discuss strategies for building owners and managers to be climate change heroes in reducing their carbon footprint and reaping financial benefits too.

Our program partner is the Sustainability Council at Building Owners and Managers Association – Greater Los Angeles.
