Electrifying transport is an important and necessary part of the solution for decarbonizing the economy, which is why New York State has a goal to reach the adoption of 850,000 zero-emissions vehicles by 2025.
In order to enable widespread adoption of EVs, charging infrastructure must also be rapidly expanded. However, adding sufficient charging infrastructure comes with its challenges, including costly utility upgrades and electric network constraints due to the large peak loads created by EV charging load profiles. To overcome these challenges, collaboration between the state and local governments, utilities, and industry players is essential.
Join us on June 11th, at 12:00pm for a virtual conversation about electric vehicle charging infrastructure! Panelists will discuss utility coordination and permitting processes, site selection and design cost drivers, the intersection of DERs and EV charging, and utility tariffs and incentive programs.
Our knowledgeable speakers will include EV experts from Build Edison, Tesla, NYC DCAS, DNV GL, and Con Edison. You can find more details about our speakers below.
We hope to see you (virtually) there for your lunch break!
