Young Professionals in Energy of Oklahoma City (YPE) has partnered with The Dragonfly Home for our annual YPE Charity Golf Tournament. The Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, November 2 at the Gaillardia Country Club with check-in beginning at 8:30 AM and Shotgun Start at 10:00 AM.  Join us for this annual extravaganza event filled with networking, friendly competition, raffle prizes and giveaways.

The Dragonfly Home was founded in 2016 and is the only non-profit in Oklahoma City that is state certified to serve victims of human trafficking. The Dragonfly Home exists because they believe every victim of human trafficking deserves freedom and the opportunity to pursue a new life. They have served nearly 400 victims of sex and/or labor trafficking, including all genders, adults and juveniles, through their Human Trafficking Crisis Center. They also operate a 24- Hour Human Trafficking Helpline, fielding nearly 4,000 calls. Donations to Dragonfly directly support the Human Trafficking Crisis Center, where they provide whatever victims need to begin healing physically, emotionally, and psychologically from the intense violence and dehumanization of human trafficking. This includes therapy, access to medical care, court advocacy, access to legal assistance, and more. They meet the basic needs of victims and their children, such as providing safe housing, food and clothing, toiletries, and transportation. They also work to create safety and security plans to mitigate risk and concerns of the victim.
