The public is overwhelmed with media hype, and social networks are alive with heated debates on the topic. Please join Young Professionals in Energy, in partnership with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, on June 6 for an entertaining and educational presentation plus Q&A on climate change by Gary Smith, retired VP of Exploration at Crew Energy. Gary has deep knowledge of the earth's history and a fascinating take on the subject.
About Gary Smith: After a 32 year career in the oil patch, Gary recently retired from his role as VP Exploration at Crew Energy. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in geology from the University of Ottawa and a PhD from McGill University, Gary joined Chevron Canada where he worked on a variety of projects from Southern Alberta to the NWT. He spent a couple of years at Union Pacific Resources and Canadian Hunter, followed by Storm Energy, before Co-founding Greenbank Energy. After the sale of Greenback, Gary join the team at Crew Energy.
