McCormick Taylor proudly hosted the Philadelphia Chapter of Young Professionals of Energy (YPE) for a thought provoking panel discussion on the future electric grid. Industry leaders in the Energy Sector discussed and debated how increases in distributed energy resources (DERs) like electric vehicles, renewable generation, and energy storage (batteries) will affect the future system. Panelists included Andrew Levitt, Sr. Marketing Strategist (PJM); Dana Small, Director of Smart Grid and Technology (PHI); Tom Bonner, Manager State Gov’t Affairs (PECO); Ariane Benrey, Community Solar Program Administrator (NJ BPU); and Brian Kauffman, Manager of Regulatory Affairs (Enel X).
