California’s community choice aggregation (CCA) law allows groups of communities to procure power on behalf of their residents and businesses. Founded in 2008, MCE (Marin Clean Energy) is California’s first CCA program, and has proven the concept can be competitive in terms of electricity rates and increased access to renewable energy. Today, MCE continues to expand and additional CCA programs are emerging in the Bay Area and Southern California.
Bring your lunch and join YPE and MCE to learn more about the CCA movement and how MCE is rapidly diversifying the ways Bay Area residents can meet their electricity needs!
