Solar and Sustainability – Facility Tour at Stanford Campus

Join us at Stanford University to learn about how they are leading the world of Higher Education in sustainability. See Stanford Energy System Innovations (SESI), worlds first large-scale deployment of a technology roadmap for building heating and cooling recommended by the International Energy Agency. The University also recenlty commissioned their 5 MW on-site and 60 MW off-site solar projects, this is your opportunity to learn more on how they were developed directly from SunPower.

 

Program

9am - Arrival on Campus, park at L-17 and see world's largest Solar Long-Span above the parking structure

9.45am - Walk down towards SESI to check-in at the Central Energy Facility

10am - Tour of SESI begins

11am - Presentation on SESI and Sustainability at Stanford

11.15am - Presentation on Stanford's Onsite and Offsite Solar projects, with special guest Bob Redlinger from SunPower

11.45am - Q&A

 

Bob Redlinger is Director of Project Development as SunPower. He has over 25 years of experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy economics and energy policy. Bob is also responsible for developing the Stanford’s comprehensive solar program including the 5 MW on-site installation as well as the 60 MW plant installed off-site in Kern County, providing over 50% of Stanford’s electricity.
