MIT Energy Night

This weekend Boston will be booming with Energy and to kick it all off is MIT's Energy Night!

MIT Energy Night is a celebration of the ingenuity, innovation, and imagination of MIT faculty, researchers, students, and alumni.

Hosted annually at the MIT Museum and organized entirely by students, the MIT Energy Night features over 70 interactive poster presentations from every energy affiliated department at MIT as well as early stage start-ups based on MIT technologies. Presentation topics span conventional energies, renewable energies, energy storage, energy efficiency, and other areas.

This year’s event is poised to attract MIT students, faculty, energy investors, business leaders, researchers, and educators on October 17, 2014 from 6:00-9:00pm at the MIT Museum. Complimentary food and soft beverages will be provided.

Event Mission & Vision

The MIT Energy Night’s mission is two-fold:

  1. Provide members of the diverse MIT energy community and the wider energy community an opportunity to interact with each other, catalyzing ideas for new research areas and business opportunities.
  2. Educate the MIT community and general public on the wide variety of energy research, education, and entrepreneurship across MIT.

The event is free and open to the general public. No registration is required.
