Grab your skis and don't forget to bring your cape! YPE Calgary invites its members on an exclusive ski & ride retreat to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort! We'll meet the bus at McMahon Stadium East Lot at 12:30 PM on Friday, and get back Sunday night around 9 pm. It is $3 to park for the weekend at McMahon. Every year the bus ride out is a blast, and this year’s theme is: Super Hero! Dress up as Spiderman, Wonder Women, or any of your favourite Super Heroes or Villains. Think tight spandex suits, Hulk Hands, and Capes! Prizes go out for best and worst costumes on the bus!
The trip includes:
- 2 nights accommodation on the hill at the gorgeous Palliser Lodge, suites with fully appointed kitchens, fridge and a view, ski-in/ski-out
- Half of the rooms have private hot tubs, so the first people to register will get Private hot tubs in their room! But they are limited so register early to ensure you get one in your room!
- 2 day lift tickets at the world famous Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
- Round trip transportation, en-route entertainment, and prizes! There will be a liquor license on board valid until the AB/BC border so people can bring their own refreshments on board! (Absolutely no glass on the bus)
- Saturday night party in Golden with our own exclusive DJ’s (no line, no cover).
- Après-ski events and Backside Tour guides
Cost Breakdown:
- YPE is committed to offering our members the lowest possible price for our legendary ski trip, and we are pleased to announce that once again we have been able to maintain this low price point for a fourth consecutive year!
- $369 each for 2 people per bed, plus 5 % GST.
- $469 each for your own bed, plus 5 % GST.
Suites are offered in either 1 or 2 bedroom configurations. All available beds will be filled, including pull-out couches. If you are adamant about your sleeping arrangements, we offer a "no-pull out couch insurance" option for $30, ensuring that you are not placed on the pull-out when we do room assignments. Sign up with a group name if you want to be put in the same room with your friends. Sign up with a bedmate, or we will assign you with a cool new friend!
