Purpose / Role Summary
The purpose of this role is to be a jack of all trades across the company that organizes, professionalizes, and structures the management team. The individual will support all functions including HR, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, filling in and supporting the team with proactive tools and systems to streamline the business.
Reporting Line
The role will report directly to the CEO of the company and have direct communication with the board of directors
Essential Job Functions
- Support the management team in communications and reporting with the board of directors to include board presentations and tracking tools
- Work closely with CEO to organize and prioritize initiatives to improve sales, operations, and overall performance
- Support finance with FP&A, monthly reporting, business plans for capital spend, and growth initiatives
- Develop tools to improve supply chain, planning, assembly, and shipping
- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to improve flow and output within the facility
- Create and support an efficient sales and marketing tracking system (CRM)
- Support implementation of strategies for new and existing products and services
- Other duties as assigned
Education / Training Requirements (Minimum and Preferred):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering preferred
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training and experience preferred
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years related experience preferred
- Experience with MRP, manufacturing, sales and / or finance preferred
Skill Sets:
- Extremely organized and methodical individual that can manage many projects and processes at the same time
- Outspoken and proactive; one who can influence others around them to encourage constant improvement within the organization
- Collaborative individual that can influence peers without a formal hierarchy
- Develops and formulates solutions without needing black and white instructions
- Creates work plans and task definitions
- Strong financial evaluation and analytical capabilities required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must be able to engage and communicate effectively with senior leaders
- Strong grasp of MS Office suite required
