· What: University of Minnesota Combined Heat & Power Plant Tour
· When: Tuesday, October 17 from 4-5 p.m.

· Where: CHP Plant – 1180 Main St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414
· Description: We will be touring the University of Minnesota’s recently-completed combined heat and power plant (CHP). The project is the renovation of the Old Main Heating Plant originally constructed in 1912. The CHP system heats the entire campus and provides about half of its electricity, while reducing the overall carbon footprint.
· Details: The tour is capped at 20 people. No open-toed or high-heeled shoes. Hard hats, safety glasses, and hearing protection will be provided at the plant. Pictures are typically not allowed
